AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND AND EIGHTY-NINE ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TEMPORARY USE FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES OF THE TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS APPROPRIATED BY ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-EIGHT HUNDRED AND SEVEN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PROVINCIAL JAIL IN THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO," BY ELIMINATING THE PROVISO THEREIN CONTAINED
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Three thousand eighty-nine is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.

SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Three thousand eighty-nine is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The Provincial Board of Surigao is hereby authorized to use for the construction of a new provincial school building the twenty-eight thousand pesos appropriated by Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seven for the construction of the provincial jail of that province."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
