"LESIONES GRAVES;" PENALTY. From the Court of First Instance of Manila. powell, J.
Defendant was changed with lesiones graves, article 416 of the Penal Code, caused in defending himself against an assault, but was convicted of lesiones menos graves, under article 418, and sentenced to one months of arresto mayor and indemnity. Complaining witness was disabled for thirty days. Penalty changed to two months and one day of arresto mayor, an indemnity of P22.50, and subsidiary imprisonment.
