BRIGANDAGE; DEATH PENALTY. From the Court of First Instance of Samar. Paredes, J.
Defendant was convicted of brigandage and sentenced to death. The record shows that defendant was the chief of a band of brigands which committed various murders, and that three of these crimes were perpetrated by him personally. Following the settled rule of this court in such cases, judgment affirmed.
