VIOLATION OF THE OPIUM LAW. From the Court of First Instance of Manila. Smith, J.
Defendant was convicted of a violation of the Opium Law and sentenced to six months' imprisonment and to pay a dine of P1,000, with subsidiary imprisonment in case of insolvency. Evidence held to sustain conviction and judgment affirmed.
