"ESTAFA." From the Court of First Instance of Manila.

Defendant was charged with estafa for collecting a debt of P300 by pretending authority from the creditor, and of arresto mayor, to make restitution, and to subsidiary imprisonment. The evidence was conflicting, but the lower court accepted that adduced by the prosecution. No error. Judgment affirmed.
