UNITED STATES, PLAINTIFF AND APPELLEE, VS. JUAN ANCHETA AND SANTIAGO QUIRICOL, DEFENDANTS AND APPELLANTS.

D E C I S I O N

WILLARD, J.:

RIOT; REASONABLE DOUBT. From the Court of First Instance of Ilocos Sur. Evidence was held sufficient to support the finding of guilty against the accused Juan Ancheta, but there appeared some doubt aw to whether the accused Quiricol participated in the fight between the two bands of fishermen. Judgment of the court below, so far as it relates to Ancheta, affirmed, but reversed as to Quiricol and the latter acquitted.

Per Willard, J.

For appellants: Antonio Sanz.
For appellee: Attorney-General Araneta.
