THE UNITED STATES, PLAINTIFF AND APPELLEE, VS. MIGUEL BONDOC ET AL., DEFENDANTS AND APPELLANTS.

D E C I S I O N

ARELLANO, C.J.:

ACTION UPON A CRIMINAL BOND. From the Court of First Instance of Cebu. Wislizenus, J.

Action against defendants as sureties on a joint and several bond P6,000 given in a criminal case to insure the attendance of the accused who failed to appear.  The sureties, upon demand for payment, alleged that they had no money, and were sentenced to pay the amount of the bond with interest at 6 per cent from the date of the demand.  No error. Judgment affirmed.
