D E C I S I O N
Robbery with homicide and rape. The Court of First Instance of Nueva Ecija found defendants-appellants guilty and sentenced them to reclusion perpetua, with the accessory penalties prescribed by law, and to pay indemnity and costs.
The penalty imposed by the lower court of reclusion perpetua is confirmed, however, the indemnity to be paid by the appellants is raised to P6,000 and in addition the appellants are also sentenced to pay jointly and severally P4,000 for rape to the victim. As modified, judgment appealed from is affirmed with costs.
