This court having regularly acquired jurisdiction of the above entitled case, and by virtue of the resolution of this Court dated the 23rd day of May, 1934, the petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed therein by the petitioner is hereby denied with costs. However, the penalty imposed upon the petitioner shall be understood as reduced in accordance with the said resolution, and the Director of Prisions is hereby authorized to release him upon service of his reduced penalty.
