THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS, PLAINTIFF AND APPELLEE, VS. MARIA LUZURIAGA AND LUCAS TANTOCO, DEFENDANTS AND APPELLANTS.

D E C I S I O N

This court having regularly acquired jurisdiction for the trial of the above-entitled cause submitted by both parties for decision,after consideration thereof by the Court upon the record, its decision and order for the judgment having been filed on the ________10th________day of ________May________, A. D. nineteen hundred and _________thirty-four________;

By virtue thereof it is hereby adjudged and decreed that the order of the Court of the First Instance of ___________Camarines Sur________, dated the __________31st__________ day of _________October____________, nineteen hundred and ___________thirty-two____________, and from which the above-entitled appeal was taken, be, and the same is hereby , modified by sentencing the appellant Maria Luzuriaga to a penalty of from six (6) months of arresto mayor to three (3) years and six (6) months and twenty-one (21) days of prision correccional, and the appellant Lucas Tantoco to a penalty of from six (6) months of arresto mayor to four (4) years, nine (9) months and eleven (11) days of prision correccional, both of them to suffer the accessory penalties, and each to pay one-half of the costs in both instances. One-half of the costs in this instance amount to P112.00, for the collection of which the trial judge shall proceed by summary proceedings.

It is further ordered that the said cause be remanded to the Court of First Instance.
