PEOPLE v. DENNIS DUNGCA MANALO

This case has been cited 2 times or more.

BRION, J.
In People v. Manalo,[105] we declared that the act of the appellant in holding the victim's right hand while the latter was being stabbed constituted sufficient proof of conspiracy:Indeed, the act of the appellant of holding the victim's right hand while the victim was being stabbed by Dennis shows that he concurred in the criminal design of the actual killer. If such act were separate from the stabbing, appellant's natural reaction should have been to immediately let go of the victim and flee as soon as the first stab was inflicted. But appellant continued to restrain the deceased until Dennis completed his attack.
