| The essence of due process is to be found in the reasonable opportunity to be heard and submit any evidence one may have in support of one's defense.[21] In the case at bar, a perusal of the records would indicate that petitioner was not denied any of the above due process guarantees that would warrant the respondent court to review the factual findings of the court a quo and to order a re-audit of the process that uncovered the shortage in petitioner's accounts. | |||||
