Aguilar."[53] Eusebio died on March 23, 1995,[54] and, according to Antonio's testimony, the former was survived by five (5) children.[55] Where there are several co-owners, and some of them die, the heirs of those who die, with respect to that part belonging to the deceased, become also co-owners of the property together with those who survive.[56] After Eusebio died, his five heirs became co-owners of his 347 square-meter portion. Dividing the 347 square meters among the five entitled each heir to 69.4 square meters of the land subject of litigation.
