The essence of due process is simply an opportunity to be heard,[13] the requirements of which are satisfied where the parties are afforded fair and reasonable opportunity to explain their side of the controversy.[14] Here, it cannot be said that there was a denial of due process on the part of respondent because she was given the opportunities to refute the allegations of complainant. |
