Clerks of court, like respondent, are reminded that their administrative functions are vital to the proper administration of justice. They perform a delicate function as designated custodians of the courts' funds, revenues and properties.[11] As such, they must be persons of integrity, uprightness and honesty. Their failure to fulfill their mandate renders it difficult for the court to maintain its good name and standing as a true temple of justice.[12]
