The Court will not hesitate to impose the ultimate penalty on those who fall short of their accountabilities. The Court condemns and does not tolerate any conduct that violates the norms of public accountability and diminishes public confidence in the judicial system.[34] Failure of sheriffs to implement writs of execution constitutes gross neglect of duty.[35]
