| More importantly and as correctly pointed out by petitioner, it is settled that neither the courts nor quasi-judicial bodies can impose upon the parties a judgment different from their compromise agreement or against the very terms and conditions of their agreement[51] without contravening the universally established principle that a contract is the law between the parties.[52] The courts can only approve the agreement of parties.
