| Accused-appellant has made much of what he perceived as inconsistencies in the testimonies of the members of the buy-bust team. It must be pointed out, however, that the alleged discrepancy is to be expected. It is doctrinally settled in a long line of cases that minor discrepancies or inconsistencies do not impair the essential integrity of the prosecution's evidence. [21] To note, the testimony of P/CInsp. Santos was given only on April 28, 2005 or several months after the buy-bust operation was conducted; thus, it is plausible that he could not recall all the members of the September 18, 2004 buy-bust operation. To emphasize, the number of members is not central to the issue of illegal sale of shabu. What is material for the prosecution in illegal sale of drugs is the proof that the transaction actually took place, together with the presentation in court of the evidence of corpus delicti.
