| It was on the basis of the Second Certification that the NLRC allowed the appeal. The divergence of the findings of the NLRC on the one hand, and the Court of Appeals on the other, necessitates a review of the records of this case to ascertain which conclusion is supported by substantial evidence and, enough to remove the conclusion away from the issue of grave abuse of discretion. Substantial evidence is such amount of relevant evidence which a reasonable mind might accept as adequate to support a conclusion.[22] | |||||
