This is an appeal from the Decision[1]of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. CR-HC No. 00475, affirming the Decision of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Palawan, Puerto Princesa City, Branch 50, finding accused Sajiron Lajim and Maron Lajim[2] guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of abduction with rape in Criminal Case No. 12281 and finding accused Egap Madsali and Sajiron Lajim guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of serious illegal detention in Criminal Case No. 12309.

Before us is a Rule 45 petition[1] which seeks the reversal of the Decision[2] and Resolution[3] of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. No. 79211. The Court of Appeals' Decision affirmed the Partial Decision[4] of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of San Fernando, Pampanga, Branch 41 in Civil Case No. 12281, fixing the compensation due respondent following the expropriation of his property for the construction of petitioner's power transmission lines.
